Commercial License & Terms

This is a plain-English summary of the terms governing your purchase. Please have these reviewed by your own legal counsel before relying on them.

These terms (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you (“you”) and Adepts Advanced Solutions (“Adepts”, “we”, “us”) and govern your purchase and use of our WordPress plugins (each, a “Plugin”) bought through portal.adepts.in.

1. The license you purchase

On purchase we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Plugin on up to the number of sites included in your plan. This right to use is perpetual — once bought, you may keep using the version you are entitled to for as long as you wish.

2. The plugin code is GPL

The PHP code of each Plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2+), consistent with WordPress. Those GPL freedoms apply to the code itself. These Terms separately govern the commercial parts of your purchase — updates, support, and license keys — which are not covered by the GPL.

3. Updates & support

Your purchase includes 12 months of updates and support from the date of purchase.
You may renew updates & support each year to continue receiving new versions and help.
If you choose not to renew, the Plugin keeps working and you keep the latest version released within your active period — you simply stop receiving newer releases until you renew.

4. License keys & activations

Your license key activates the Plugin on your sites, up to your plan’s seat limit. You are responsible for keeping your key confidential. We may deactivate keys that are shared publicly or used beyond the purchased seat count.

5. What you may not do

Resell, sublicense, or redistribute our official builds, updates, or license keys.
Remove or interfere with the licensing or update mechanisms.
Use the Plugin on more sites than your plan permits.

6. Disclaimer & liability

The Plugins are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the Plugin in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination & governing law

We may terminate the license if you materially breach these Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
